Description of Play:
On December 7, 1941 the lives of four 11 year-olds living on O'ahu are changed forever when Japanese planes, on their way to Pearl Harbor, bomb their small town. Through comedy and drama award winning playwright Y. York explores what friendship means when everything in one's world is turned upside down.
Suggested ages 8 and up.

ON STAGE workshops for Youth:
This hour-long Saturday workshop is thematically connected to the production and will give kids the chance to peek backstage, try out a bit of performing, and directly interact with members of the HTY creative team. Parents are invited to watch the workshop from the house.

School Performance Dates on Oahu:
HTY presents school performances on O‘ahu in Tenney Theatre at the Cathedral of St. Andrew and statewide on tour to various sites and directly to classrooms. Performances cost is $6 per student. Student discount cards can be purchased in advance for $4.50 per student. Children on free and reduced lunches qualify for discounted admission. Teachers and required assistants are admitted free of charge with the group, although we do encourage them to pay to help meet our costs.
